Meet our
Founder

Sonia Clarke

Principal, Clever Manka

Sonia has spent her career at the intersection of the corporate and creative worlds, with 20+ years of experience working with clients to solve complex business challenges through strategic communications, co-design, and leadership coaching.

Most recently, Sonia headed up PwC’s national Creative Comms business and sat on the leadership team of The Difference, its unique and industry-leading facilitation and collaboration design capability. She was also one of the leaders who launched PwC’s Future of Work business, responsible for brand (no. 1 SOV in market), and acting as a start-up within the wider organisation.

Prior to PwC, she spent more than a decade in PR, where she held senior agency leadership roles and directed multiple award-winning campaigns which spanned consumer brand building to corporate reputation management.

Sonia is the Chair for the Pause Awards, which champions Australia’s innovation ecosystem, and a Board Director for Southside Justice. She’s also a judge for the Mumbrella and Telstra Best of Business awards, and speaks regularly at conferences and other external forums about Future of Work trends, communications and creativity.
